Hi Kate,
As you may remember, I was originally
looking for a house to rent for a week in Newport for my daughter's
wedding. I hadn't had much luck with that. . .and then, by chance
we came to Pelham Court & I knew our search was over. From
my first "walk
through" of the 3 bedrm -3 1/2 bath condo I knew we had
found the right place... I think we
ended up taking over most of the hotel, and all of our guests
LOVED the experience. The Courtyard was the perfect place to
gather - it is lovely whether in the AM for coffee or throughout
the day/evening. Our condo was beautifully maintained and gave
us plenty of room to spread out - whether we were working on
Welcome Bags/ Maid of Honor Toasts or safely hanging up the wedding
gown. You & the entire staff at Pelham
Court were delightful to work with and always responded when
we needed help (whether a simple request for more towels or a
referral for a deli to provide "tea sandwiches" for
the bridesmaids on the wedding day.
Planning a wedding from 3 states away (we live in NJ) is a daunting
task, but you helped us every step along the way.
All the staff at Pelham Court truly went
above & beyond in providing gracious hospitality & outstanding
service. My daughter was so happy with the
Pelham Court experience I know it contributed to her sense of
calm on her wedding day. I suspect [the photos] taken of
the bride as she exited Pelham Court- in bright sunshine- with
her father & entered
the vintage car en route to the Chapel- will be as beautiful
in print as they are in my memory. Thank you again for everything!
